My favorite holiday to host has always been Easter. I love planning the menu, the flowers, the table and the egg hunt for the kids—all of it. I’m excited that this year I’ll be tying on my Entertain apron over my new dress, keeping it clean and managing to still look and feel cute.

Today, I want to help spruce up your springtime hostess duties. I’m giving away two of my Entertain aprons to readers. To enter, just leave a comment to this post (here on the blog) telling me your favorite thing about Spring—check out the details below.

As a California girl, spring is my favorite season here on the east coast because it’s the one that most reminds me of “home”! Not too hot, not too cold….juuuust right!

Seeing the bright green nubs poke through the dirt, and buds on trees, every day a walk through the garden reveals more life! This spring we will add mason bees to our yard… my daughter is so excited. 🙂

What I love most about spring is the renewal of life. My plum tree is blooming, baby goats being born. I love spring!

Spring means longer days, lots of rain, and that it’s time to start my seeds for the garden, and plan mark the calendar for when it’s time to plant them outside! When the tulips start to poke through the ground(sometimes through snow!), that tells me better than any calendar that Spring is here.
