My favorite recipe is a Cranberry Relish that I found at Sturbridge Village in Massachusetts. A bag of washed whole cranberries, 1 naval orange, cut in to 1/8ths, 1 lemon quartered, 3/4 C or to taste, dry roasted, unsalted almonds, suger. Coarsely chop each of the ingredients in a food processor and then transfer to a bowl after each chopping. The Orange and Lemon can be processed together, and it is best to chop the almonds first as they are the driest ingredient. mix in a bowl. Add granulated sugar to taste. Refrigerate after making. This will last about 7 days in the refrigerator and goes really well with duck, turkey, ham, chicken and in place of chutney in Indian cuisine.

My favorite holiday treat to make for family and friends are large gingerbread snowflake cookies – each hand-decorated!

By far my favorite item was my friend Ralph’s mother’s traditional stuffing with sausage…..super yummy. Having three little helpers made it all the more fun!
Happy Holidays.

My Family’s favorite holiday treat I make them is the delicious french pastry Pate a Choux with a creamy filling and palmier…..
I love making them as well…..:)

I enjoy cooking just about anything during the holidays when my daughters come home! Since being diagnosed as gluten intolerant 3 years ago, it is a challenge to prepare the old favorites without the dreaded gluten. Instead of all those delicious cookies, we’ve transitioned to other sweet treats.

Pralines! I have been making this wonderful candy for Christmas holidays since my kids were little. Now they are grown and off to college. As soon as they come home for the holidays they ask where are the pralines. Love to see the joy this tradition makes.

I love making spritz cookies. It’s the only time of the year that I make them, and I look forward to sharing that tradition with my boys.

on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day i love to bake some little, delicious and personalised things to decorate the dinner table, that can be eatable place cards or a small Christmas tree cake !

My favorite holiday item is to bake my mom’s Christmas cookies – I grew up baking every year with her and they remind me of childhood and laughter every holiday season.
