Holiday Hostess Cos Bar and Apron Giveaway!

beauty giveaway

It’s been such a JOY writing the blog this year! Thank you for your faithful readership. I love waking up to your comments and fun reactions. My favorite part of this year on Eat Drink Garden had to be Thanksgiving. All of your comments, calls and texts about making the Sage and Sausage Stuffing made me feel like I was in your kitchen with you that day. I appreciate all the ways you transform this passion project of mine into a true labor of love.

As a thank you for the joy you’ve brought into my life, I’ve asked my dear friends at the Cos Bar of Montecito if we could do another giveaway together. This package has everything you need to look and feel gorgeous this holiday season, this haul is valued at over $600! In addition to all the luxury goodies from the Cos Bar, I’m also including my newest apron. This halter style in hemp offers great coverage and looks so pretty on. It’s my new favorite and it’s not even for sale yet on the site.

I’m thankful for our new fixer-upper in wine country which has brought so many of our friends and family together over the course of the year. We’ve built many great memories while breathing lots of new life into this house.

Feeling excited about Christmas again! Last year was my first without my mother, and it was hard I still miss her and always will, but it is so nice to be able to think of her with joy and remember all the happy holiday stories! She was faaaaaabulous!

Thank you Valerie for another year of wishing I lived in your warm climate rather the cold east coast of Canada. Merry Christmas to you and your family!

My family… from my 85 year old mother, my husband and kids, to all the new babies joining our clan. Gathering, cooking (from great recipes here!), eating and celebrating life. It’s all grand!

That I’ve learned to be more in the present moment which helps me tune into my gratitude for the simplest little things such as clean air for a deep cleansing breath, clean water to hydrate with, electricity, the palm trees against the blue sky, sunshine and warmth in December, family and friends. The list is endless but it begins with presence which turns into gratitude which equals joy. Great question! Fun giveaway!

I am so very grateful for my husband who continues to fight his way back from a life altering heart attack. He is my hero.

I am so blessed to have a wonderful family which still include my parents and my in-laws that are all in their mid 80’s! They are a joy to us all!

It was definitely a joyful day in October when my husband completed his miserable cancer treatments….onward and upward in 2016 !!!!

Our three brand new grandchildren: a boy and twin girls – all born within two months of each other!.

Spending time with my family. No matter how stressful work, traffic, customers, or just everyday life is, it all melts away when we’re together.

My son got engaged one year ago today to a lovely girl who we are thrilled to welcome to our family! Looking forward to wedding bells in April.

I am grateful for a new home, and with it a new project! But most of all I am for my beautiful family and our good fortune of health and safety amidst all of the craziness in the world at the moment.

What has brought me so much joy this past year Is gatherings with family and sharing great food and traditions. Also, the simple joys in life, like the bounty of fruit and vegetables from my garden and the beautiful flowers in my cutting garden. Simple pleasures!

Joy in 2015 came from celebrating 22 years with my husband, a new granddaughter, time with my family, good friends and playing my ukulele.

I have had much joy in 2015 because my Mother moved across the country to live in Santa Barbara near us. Having her close and watching her interact with my daughter has brought us all joy.

Watching my three sons grow and mature. My oldest has had quite a journey so far, so seeing his new-found maturity has been a happy relief to this mama 🙂

The light and depth of friendships, and power of teamwork. Family gathering “just because.” Farmer’s market, photography and always… sunrises and sunsets, simple or spectacular.

This year has brought me joy because I got engaged, have shared loving memories with friends and family and really enjoy my work and what I do!

My husband brings me joy all year long! He provides for my kids and I with love and always makes me smile.
