Romanesco, the total package…
Thanks to rain (!!) my garden is finally ready for a close-up…
Raindrops on roses and aphids on broccoli…
How did December get here so damn fast? In the flurry of all your shopping, glass clinking and nibbling treats by the gallon, don’t forget that December offers so many treasures that make for fresh and tasty meals.
Waste drives me crazy, especially of the beautiful veggie variety. But I can only feed those chickens so much- what to do with all that leftover produce?
November is such a celebratory food month; I’m excited to share the latest Pick Now! calendar listing all the wonderful produce and flowers that are in season right now.
So, I stand with one foot in each season, my well-worn flip flops and a bowl of salsa in one hand and my new stacked heeled boots and kabocha squash soup in the other.
August! Really? How did that happen?
I’ve noticed that sometimes by just cutting my kids sandwiches differently they will eat their lunch. I thought why not try out this tactic with our dinnertime broccoli.
My mouth waters every time I get a glimpse of this April edition of the Pick Now! calendar.
