This wonderfully warm, zesty, garlic dip is a delight to serve with garden veggies on a cool spring evening. Bagna Cauda, hailing from the Piedmont area of Italy, is the perfect accompaniment to grilled asparagus (featured last Friday), but will go with pretty much any crispy garden vegetable.
The Superbowl is upon us! Here at Casa Rice, we are expecting about have about 12-16 guests over to watch the big game. This year, I’ve decided that I actually want to watch the game (truly, a novel idea), so I am serving everything family style and cooking most of it in advance. This is what I am cooking up for this year’s Superbowl Sunday:
It works well as a dip for veggies, dressing on crispy greens or in place of mayo on a sandwich. However you add it to you culinary repertoire; sit back and watch your guests light up when they sample your latest garden creation with zeal.
This is a great way to move things out of your garden on a daily basis. It is wonderful to have a platter of fresh, vibrant veggies waiting for your guests when they arrive…
