You know I’m a huge fan of all things local. And there is no fish as fresh as fresh off the boat.
Don’t you think it’s funny that it’s The Paris Cookbook where I discovered such a flavorful version of this American classic with an Asian twist??
This risotto is sort of a “base recipe” that can be prepared in a ton of different ways. At my birthday party, he added wild mushrooms and served it under tender slices of roasted duck. During a spring visit to the Bernardus Lodge, we had it with fresh peas, and for our wedding, we chose to have it topped with white truffles.
This meatball recipe turned out to be a HUGE success. It was simple to make and so delicious that my family devoured the entire meal in silence, barely taking time between bites to breathe (which, between me and my two lively, talkative girls, is extremely rare). Every fresh ingredient seemed to bloom in a perfect combination of delightful flavors.
Today, we are talking “butcher shop.” Normally I gravitate toward veggies in this blog but the meat is what makes this burger special, so spectacular, in fact, that you might consider it for your dad, too.
