The Superbowl is upon us! Here at Casa Rice, we are expecting about have about 12-16 guests over to watch the big game. This year, I’ve decided that I actually want to watch the game (truly, a novel idea), so I am serving everything family style and cooking most of it in advance. This is what I am cooking up for this year’s Superbowl Sunday:

With a little effort today and tomorrow, a well-stocked panty, an abundance of party wine, and a flourishing garden, I know I can pull it together. Here’s to a great celebration of a holiday that allows us the freedom and independence to eat, drink and garden.
